Why we built Wisedocs

The story of Wisedocs starts with our founder, Connor Atchison, a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces. During his 12 years of service, Connor worked in healthcare administration and saw how manual, outdated processes created delays for the people who needed help most.

That experience became deeply personal when he became a caregiver for a family member following a catastrophic car accident. Navigating the complex claims process—while trying to support someone’s recovery—made one thing clear: the system was broken, and it needed to change. After first focusing on a way to fix the claims industry for individual claimants, Connor Atchison teamed up with co-founder Jenna Earnshaw to launch Wisedocs as the software platform for claims document automation
